Brrrr, there’s definitely a chill in the air, but that didn’t stop wildlife right across Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside from keeping us on our toes through November.

Swifts are now on the Amber List of endangered birds, but thankfully, a fantastic local group is working to reverse their decline in our region.

Spring is in full swing and don’t we know it! There have been lots of exciting sightings across Lancashire, Manchester and North Merseyside, and they aren’t showing any signs of slowing down.

It’s been a busy month in our region! Butterflies and bees are now out in force, amphibians are spawning like crazy and spring migrants are arriving in bigger and bigger groups.
