Put your detective skills to the test and join our hands-on workshop all about owl pellets.
About the event
In this workshop we will be dissecting real pellets found on Lunt Meadows. You will learn how to take them apart and work out what the owls have been eating from examining the bones inside. Our friendly team will teach you how to tell the difference between different pellets so that if you find them out and about yourself you will know what birds of prey have left them.
This event is open to all ages and children must be accompanied by an adult. The ticket cost is for dissecting two pellets so if you have multiple people in your group and would like to dissect more, please purchase more tickets.
Safety equipment and dissection tools will be provided.
