Witness wild courtship rituals

We may still be in the depths of winter, but new green shoots are emerging all over nature reserves, parks, gardens and beyond, promising that new life and springtime are just round the corner!

This is true for the animal kingdom, too - in fact, this is a perfect time of year to keep an eye out for some wild courtship rituals. One of our favourites - the elegant courtship dance of great crested grebes, which you can see at some of our nature reserves including Mere Sands Wood and Wigan Flashes.
