Join us at Tonge Valley woodland and help with practical habitat management to benefit wet woodland wildlife.

Our Wet Willow Wildlife project is working to improve wet willow habitats at a landscape scale, across Bolton, Salford, Wigan, Trafford and the Mersey Gateway. By strategically creating and improving habitat pockets, we are enhancing connectivity for wet willow species, allowing for greater movement and dispersal over a wide geographic area.

As a Practical Conservation Volunteer you will carry out and contribute to a range of important habitat creation, restoration and management activities.

If you'd like to find out more and apply to volunteer with us on the 30th of January please click on the link below which will take you to Assemble, our Volunteer Management System.
