Learn how plants were used in the Stone Age and forage some for yourself.
About the event
Join the Lunt Meadows team for a day learning all about Stone Age plants. In this workshop you will learn about how plants were used by our prehistoric ancestors. As we walk round the reserve, we will talk about each plant, and forage some so that you can have a go at using and tasting them for yourself. We will also go over some more modern (than the stone age) uses of these plants too.
Please wear sturdy footwear, as the paths at Lunt Meadows are uneven, and dress for the weather. Do also feel free to take notes as we go along.
Please bring a packed lunch, alternatively there is a cafe on site.
