North Lancashire Practical Conservation Volunteer
Location:
North Lancashire, reserves
We're looking for volunteers to join our conservation work parties in North Lancashire to help us carry out hands-on habitat management and site maintenance tasks.
We carry out practical work on sites in North Lancashire (including Warton Crag, Aughton Woods, Freeman's Pools and Heysham Nature) on ad hoc Thursdays between 9.30am and 3.30pm. We are looking for individuals who have access to a car and will enjoy volunteering at different sites.
No previous experience is needed just a reasonable level of physical fitness and an eagerness to get stuck in whatever the weather!
We provide the tools, training and personal protective equipment for the tasks and just ask that you bring your own lunch, wear sturdy footwear and dress appropriately for the weather.
