Engaging children with the muddy, magical natural world

Nature Tots is our fun-filled and educational play programme dedicated to helping pre-schoolers get in touch with wildlife and the great outdoors.

Nature tots sessions are for children aged 15 months up to 5 years. Each week has a different theme around which the activities are based. There is lots to enjoy and explore, with opportunities for environmental arts, crafts, story time, mud play, minibeast hunts, woodland games and much more! Combining both independent learning and team-working, our sessions are designed to boost each child's communication and problem solving skills, physical development and creativity through good old-fashioned fun!

Nature Tots takes place outside, so please ensure you and your little one come dressed for the weather (waterproofs, layers and wellies/sturdy boots), so you both have a wonderful time come rain or shine!

Encourage independence

Tots are encouraged to lead their own learning with gentle encouragement and prompting from accompanying adults. Watch their faces light up with the sense of achievement that comes from learning to use tools and completing a task all by themselves.

Love going to Nature Tots with my granddaughter. The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful, and really enthusiastic. I love that the children are encouraged to explore, get dirty and ask questions.
