Event details
About the event
Join us for an evening exploring the fascinating ecology, intriguing anatomy and precarious status of Britain's wetland engineer - the Eurasian Beaver. Through a presentation of photography and film, Heather Devey, of Wild Intrigue, will share recent insights of this species which is undergoing gradual restoration in Britain, from her experience in England, Scotland and Europe.
We are a friendly, local group of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust who meet throughout the year to share our interest in the natural world. Our wildlife talks are held in the Church of the Ascension hall, Michaelson Avenue, Torrisholme, LA4 6RH at 7.30pm on the second Friday of every month from September to March. Anyone who enjoys nature is welcome. Entry is £3 (includes free refreshments).
