About the event

St Kilda, 45 miles off the Western Isles, is home to nesting seabirds, the St Kilda Wren, St Kilda Mouse, and receives an astonishing range of visiting birds as well as cetaceans and seals. With 16 trips over 21 years, David Ackroyd has spent over 27 weeks on what is the UK’s only dual World Heritage Site.
We are a friendly, local group of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust who meet throughout the year to share our interest in the natural world. Our wildlife talks are held in the Church of the Ascension hall, Michaelson Avenue, Torrisholme, LA4 6RH at 7.30pm on the second Friday of every month from September to March. Anyone who enjoys nature is welcome. Entry is £3 (includes free refreshments).
