From fully-catered conference rooms with audio-visual facilities, to smaller meeting spaces and party venues, we have a range of spaces for hire at our nature reserves and cafés. Our team will work with you to create the perfect package to accommodate your needs.

Room options
Brockholes Nature Reserve
With flexible conference suites, delicious lunch options and ample parking, our unique floating village set in the heart of Brockholes Nature Reserve is the natural place to do business and we would love to host your event. There are two rooms available in the conference centre: the larger Reeding Room and the smaller Den. There are also two other rooms available to hire: Kestrel Kitchen (term-time only) or Peckish.
The Reeding Room
£400 for half day hire (8am-12pm or 1pm-5pm)
£750 for full day hire (9am-5pm)
£425 evening hire (6pm onwards)

The Den
£250 for half day hire

All bookings include complimentary parking*, WiFi and use of projector and screen (*in order to receive free parking guests must provide their car registration number on arrival at the conference centre).
Pavilion Café at Queens Park
Pavilion Café events space
Our versatile event space is ideal for a wide range of functions, from intimate birthday celebrations to grand wedding celebrations, pre-wedding ceremonies, conferences, and more. Boasting a private conference room that can comfortably accommodate 200 guests, our facilities are equipped with full fibre high speed internet, in-built projector and screen and sound system to meet all your event needs. The meeting room is available for hire from 8am to 9pm, with extended hours available upon request for special celebrations.
Monday - Friday
Between 8am-5pm: £40 per hour
5pm onwards: £50 per hour
£100 for half day hire (8am-12pm or 12:30pm-5pm)
£150 for full day hire (8am-5pm)
Saturday - Sunday
5pm onwards: £55 per hour
£90 for half day hire (8am-12pm or 1pm-5pm)
£160 for full day hire (8am-5pm)

Banquet style: max 150 people on round tables

The above prices apply to our 11m x 11m events space. Whole café and event space hires can be arranged for afternoons and evenings, £POA, max 200 people.

Freshly brewed Rainforest alliance certificated coffee served alongside a selection of fair trade and organic tea as well as cordial and water. Our refreshment stations have unlimited top-ups, if you want more – just ask.
Breakfast Baps - £4.95pp
Bacon or sausage & vegan sausage baps, served on brioche rolls.
Light Bites Buffet (Minimum 10 people) - £14pp
This menu has been designed to suit all styles of event as a lunch or evening offering, to be grazed on as a casual dining experience. The buffet includes:
Chef’s Choice selection of freshly-made open and closed sandwiches and wraps, including vegan and vegetarian options.
Mixed leaf salad
Crisps (Upgrade to fries for an extra £1)
Selection of bite-sized tray bake desserts
Fork Buffet (Minimum 24 people) - £17pp
Our Fork Buffet is designed as a more substantial offering, suitable for both daytime or evening dining whilst retaining a more casual dining experience for your guest.
Choose one main option + one vegan option. Please provide numbers for the vegan option before your conference. All items can be gluten free. You can upgrade to fries for an extra £1.

Choose on the day (Fewer than 10 people) - £14pp
No need to order in advance – choose from our onsite café and eat in the café or back in your conference room. Choose any hot or cold food meal + drink from our coffee machines or cold drinks cabinets. Depending on what we have on offer this may be cheese toasties, lasagne or quiche, home made soups or sandwiches – we always have an ample selection of hot and cold items with gluten-free and vegan options.

Lunch (choose on arrival, maximum 20 people) - £10.95pp
Choose any items from our café menu. We will take your order on the day and guests can order whatever they like from the menu, including our specials. Our menu includes of a range of options from cheese toasties with salad and chips, homemade soups, pies and curries with rice or chips, ample cold sandwiches with crisps and salad. We always have vegan, gluten free and halal options available. This option includes any soft or hot drink.
Finger buffet (minimum 15 people) - £13.95pp
A selection of traditional and open sandwiches, homemade seasonal savoury deli items, crisps, seasonal salad & homemade coleslaw & selection of whole fruit. Available as fully or partially vegan / halal on request.
Hot lunch buffet (minimum 20 people) - £14.95pp
Homemade Lancashire hot pot or vegan lasagne served with a choice of fries, seasonal salad, braised red cabbage and garlic bread. (Both options Halal)
Desserts - £3.95pp
Selection of tray bakes and cake slices as well as a selection of whole fruit (Vegan & Halal options available on request).

Catering for yourself / using external caterers
We do allow this on special request, please contact us directly.
External Caterers – will need to provide liability insurance and proof of in-date food safety inspection report for their premises. If the caterer requires the use of our kitchen, this is available at an additional cost and is available in the afternoon / evenings only.
Celebrations of life / wakes - we can cater for celebrations of life at short notice at reduced rates if our space is not already booked and turn bookings around in a 24 hour period. If your booking is urgent, please go into the café and speak to staff directly
Children's parties at Queens Park
What better location for a kids' party? We have a huge park and playground right outside the café. We offer a large and well-equipped private space perfect for booking private entertainers and bringing your own decorations.
We take care of all the catering, providing home-cooked meals and ensure your kids get wholesome and healthy options. Our on-site café also allows guardians to enjoy a quality brew and a bite to eat.
All kids' party prices are inclusive of room hire.
Weekday evenings (5:30pm-7:30pm): £9.50 per child
Weekend half days (9am-12pm or 1pm-5pm): £12.50 per child

All options are served with mini salad, vegetable crudites & French fries.
Dessert options include home-made school cake with a scoop of ice cream or a fruit salad with ice cream (vegan ice cream available). All options accompanied by free-flowing squash all day.
