Brockholes Village Fete competition

Display your talents in our competition at Brockholes Village Fete

Entries are now open for our competition at this year's Brockholes Village Fete!

This year's Village Fete will be taking place Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th August 2024, and we'll be hosting our exciting competition on both of these days.

Categories available to enter

We're looking for entries for a range of categories that will allow entrants to show off their skills and talents including baking, handicrafts, vegetable growing, drawing, photography, and more. As you may expect, most categories have a nature or wildlife-inspired theme.

Our children's competition categories include: a miniature garden, a vegetable monster, a drawing, a hand-decorated pebble, an item crafted from recycled materials.

Our general competition categories include: preserves, baking, handicrafts, photography, floral art, and vegetable growing.

Learn more about our categories in detail on our competition entry form.

Prizes on offer

Our children's competition winners will each receive a certificate and a toy of their choosing from our on-site shop.

Our general competition winners will each receive a certificate and a hand crafted wooden bird box.

How do I enter?

By following the link below, you'll be taken to our competition entry form. This is where you'll be able to confirm your details and select which competition categories you'd like to enter. For a small fee of £1 per entered category, you'll then be able to submit your competition entry.

Every penny from this year's Village Fete competition entries will go towards supporting our biggest-ever appeal, Step up for Wildlife, which will allow us to ramp up the scale of our important conservation work across the region and do more to protect our local wildlife.

Thank you for your generosity, and we can't wait to see your entries!
