Immerse yourself in, fun, sun and family-friendly activities taking place all weekend including nature trails and our hugely popular Explorer Challenge, which is INCLUDED in your ticket price. You’ll also find face painting, kids' crafting, upcycling activity sessions and cookie decorating, happy days!

We will also be hosting exciting and informative guided tours of the nature reserve, where you’ll be taken out by one of our resident experts and may even get chance to meet our herd of grazing cattle as you wander in the fresh summer air.

There will be a range of food and drink options on offer including our on-site cafés and food stalls selling everything from ice cream to burgers, plus vegan street food, and local beers. Delicious!

Our promise to you? Sleepy heads in the back of the car all the way home!

Please note: Your ticket is for one day at the fete and covers as many people that your vehicle can legally carry as long as it fits in a standard parking bay. Parking is included with each ticket.

Frequently asked questions

How much do tickets cost?

Tickets cost £20.

Please note: This entry price is per car. Parking is included with each ticket.

What does my £20 cover?

Your £20 covers your parking for the entire day, entry to the event for as many people that can fit in to your car, plus it helps us to protect and conserve the wildlife at our wonderful reserve.

What if I want to take public transport or walk?

We're an environmental charity so want to encourage as many people as we can to use this method to get to Brockholes. Should you want to attend the Village Fete without a car, there will be no charge apart from if you want to take part in the additional games we have available, and of course for any food and drink you wish to purchase.

What if I already have a parking pass?

Thank you so much! We're thrilled that you've got a pass for our reserves, thank you for your support. Please contact parking@lancswt.org.uk so that we can organise a special discount for you.

Will the reserve still be open for me to walk around or take pictures if I don't want to go to the Village Fete?

This will be a very busy event so unfortunately ticket holders only will be permitted access to Brockholes on the days of the Fete. Please check our opening times to rearrange your visit.

Can I buy a ticket on the day?

We anticipate that this will be a hugely popular event with tickets selling out very quickly; to avoid disappointment please purchase your ticket in advance!

Can I bring my own food?

We aim to cater for most if not all dietary requirements in our lovely cafés with beautiful views, plus there will be a range of external caterers on the day serving delicious food for you to purchase. However should you need to bring your own food, we permit picnics anywhere on the reserve indoors or out.
