We are looking for a volunteer to join our team of livestock checkers and check the sheep or cattle at Lunt Meadows on Sundays.

Training will be given in how to behave around livestock and what signs to be aware of to ensure that the animals are grazing in a safe environment.

The sheep are on the site during the winter and the cattle over the summer. Each checker visits once a week to check the health and welfare of the livestock grazing there and this takes around an hour.

It's a great opportunity to spend time outdoors enjoying nature whilst checking the animals, making sure the fences are intact and keeping an eye out for any other reportable issues.
